This edition was originally published by subscription by the Cramer brothers in Geneva in 1764. Voltaire wrote all the commentaries accompanying each play. This Parisian reprint of 1797, published by the booksellers Bossange, Masson and Besson, reproduces the text and illustrations of Voltaire\u2019s edition.<\/p>\n
