A highly important musical manuscript by François Joseph Naderman (1781–1835).
Naderman was a French harpist and composer, he studied with Krumpholz and quickly became the most famous and gifted harpist of the begining of the 19th century.
The son of a harp maker, he first became harpist at the Paris Opéra and then in the French royal chapel. From 1825 he established the first class of harp and became the first professor of harp at the Paris Conservatory.
Very close to the king Charles X and the royal familly, Naderman was the professor of harp to Princess Maria Carolina Ferdinanda Luisa of Naples and Sicily, known in France as the Duchesse de Berry, the King’s daughter-in-law.
This exceptionnal manuscript contains several unpublished original scores for the duchesse de Berry. These two magnificent volumes are luxuriously bound in green morocco for the Duchesse de Berrry.
