Dr Joseph Hariz was a Tunisian Jewish doctor. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Regency of Tunis had 170 qualified doctors, including 81 French, 83 foreigners and 6 Tunisians, including 2 Muslims and 4 Israelis.

The last leaf contains a bibliography.
