Illustrated with a portrait of King René and 13 fold-out plates, including one of music, the others depicting processions, costumes, floats, etc. These images were drawn and engraved by Paul and Gaspard Grégoire.
The Corpus Christi ceremonies were suspended by the Revolution in 1789 and were not resumed until 1803, under the mayorship of M. Sallier, when they were celebrated with great pomp by Monseigneur Champion de Cicé.
